- אֲמִירָהII f. (v. preced. 3); cmp. Ps. 4:5; 96:10; Is. 3:10) 1) proclamation, receiving homage. Ex. R. s. 29 when a human king יוצא לא׳וכ׳ comes forth for a reception of homage, he comes forth singly (not with his army). 2) distinction, ornament. Yalk. Ex. 244, v. אִימְּרָה.
